The name Kova™ is of Finnish origin, meaning "tough, hard or demanding a lot of effort to endure". Designed by veteran knife designer, Ken Steigerwalt, the strength and durability of the front lock folding knife is not only in the name, but in the way it meets everyday challenges. With a high carbon stainless steel blade, it makes it easy to sharpen. The handle is light and durable, reinforced with glass. The unique front lock mechanism uses the liners as springs, and is ambidextrous, as the thumb bolt and front lock allows the blade to be opened and closed with either hand. Easy to carry as it has a deep carrying clip to fit low in the pocket.
