Kai's 2-piece fillet knife set is forged from corrosion-resistant 32-layer damascus steel from VG-10 and SUS410, a high-carbon steel, for the trendy Shun Premier Tim Mälzer series. They feature a striking and attractive hand-forged blade finish, a well-known forging technique in Japan as far back as Tsuchime. Thus, it aids cutting and prevents food from sticking to the blade. Its handle is characterized by its symmetrical and comfortable shape, and is made of walnut. Suitable for both right-handed and left-handed use, thanks to the shape of the handle. Hand wash recommended.
